Vaginal Filler Cost in Seoul: Why Prices Vary by Product and Clinic
Vaginal filler prices vary depending on the filler type, product quality, amount used, and injection technique.
For powdered fillers such as Wonderfill, ask how many original ampoules are used, not only how many cc are injected. Check whether the quoted price includes sedation, examinations, and other additional fees before choosing a clinic.
Today, I would like to reveal one of the lesser-known facts within the medical industry about the cost of vaginal fillers,
which are non-insurance treatments. Fillers are used not only on the face but also inside the vagina.
By creating volume within the vaginal canal, they may help reduce the internal space.
Vaginal fillers are a non-surgical treatment that may be considered for vaginal tightening,
improved elasticity, collagen production, vaginal dryness, and enhanced sexual sensation—without leaving obvious signs of treatment.
Because vaginal filler treatments are not covered by national health insurance, clinics do not all charge the same price.
Many patients wonder why the cost varies so significantly between clinics.
There are also several details that patients may not be aware of, so I would like to explain the main reasons behind these price differences.
1. Winkfeel Hera: Dextran Vaginal Filler
One commonly used product is Winkfeel Hera, a vaginal filler made with 100% dextran.
The filler itself is biodegradable and is generally broken down within two years.
However, the patient’s own collagen generated in response to the treatment may remain for two to three years and,
in some cases, up to five years.
When the package is opened, the filler comes in individually packaged 1 cc syringes.
Winkfeel Hera is one of the more expensive vaginal filler products,
and it is the only product discussed here that comes as a fully prepared, individually packaged 1 cc syringe.
The price is generally set at approximately KRW 300,000 to 500,000 per cc.
Because Winkfeel Hera is manufactured as a single standardized product by one company,
there are no separate product grades or versions with the same name.
2. HA Filler: Hyaluronic Acid Vaginal Filler
The next type is an HA, or hyaluronic acid, filler.
Although hyaluronic acid is also widely used in facial fillers,
vaginal HA fillers are designed with properties intended to create volume and supporting tissue within the vaginal canal.
HA fillers are often known as a more affordable vaginal filler option, but their prices can vary considerably.
Some products may cost around KRW 50,000 per cc, while others may be priced in the KRW 100,000 range or even around KRW 200,000 per cc.
Certain HA fillers undergo specialized manufacturing processes to improve their durability, which can increase the product cost.
Meanwhile, other HA fillers are considerably less expensive.
The clinic’s treatment price may therefore vary depending on the original cost and quality of the product used.
Hyaluronic acid naturally tends to spread within the tissue.
Less expensive products may not create sufficient volume and may also have a shorter duration of effect.
3. Wonderfill: Dermal Collagen Filler
Another option is Wonderfill, commonly described as a dermal collagen filler.
Patients may notice a particularly large price difference between clinics offering Wonderfill.
The cost may range from approximately KRW 70,000 to 300,000 per cc.
Wonderfill originally comes in a powdered form. It must be mixed and hydrated before it can be injected.
This means that each clinic may use a different preparation method, and the final mixture may differ in composition and concentration.
Clinics may have their own preparation techniques, including what they mix with the original powder.
As these methods are part of each clinic’s clinical experience and protocol, not every detail can be disclosed.
Most clinics explain vaginal filler costs according to the number of cc injected because this is easier for patients to understand.
However, with powdered dermal collagen fillers, the final volume can change substantially depending on what is added during the mixing process. For example, the powder may be mixed with an inexpensive HA filler or simply with saline.
The finished mixtures may appear similar from the outside.
Even when only saline is added, the visible volume of the mixture can increase significantly.
One ampoule could be prepared as approximately 2 cc, 5 cc, or even more than 10 cc.
Therefore, the price cannot reasonably be compared based only on the final number of cc.
Saline may temporarily increase the injected volume, but it is absorbed by the body within several days.
Ultimately, only the original active material from the ampoule remains.
For this reason, the price difference between Wonderfill treatments largely
depends on the number of original ampoules used and how the product is mixed.
4. Physician Experience and Additional Costs
The clinic’s location and the physician’s experience may also affect the price.
Vaginal filler treatment requires careful decisions regarding the injection area, depth, amount, and distribution.
The procedure can be highly technique-dependent, and the physician’s experience may have a significant influence on the final result and patient satisfaction.
When I first began performing vaginal filler treatments, I also spent considerable time studying the procedure.
I reviewed medical literature, discussed clinical cases with other physicians, and continued refining my technique through experience.
Our clinic may also use additional components intended to support the filler’s integration into the surrounding tissue,
depending on the patient’s condition and treatment plan.
Patients should also confirm whether the quoted price includes all associated fees.
Some clinics may advertise a low filler price but charge a substantial additional fee for sedation.
Others may require multiple examinations that increase the final treatment cost.
Therefore, it is important not to choose a clinic by comparing the filler price alone.
Tips Before Getting Vaginal Fillers
1. Check the price of Winkfeel Hera
Winkfeel Hera is available only as a standardized, fully prepared 1 cc product.
Checking a clinic’s price for this product may help you understand its general pricing level because the product
itself is supplied in a fixed form and quantity.
2. Ask how many original ampoules are used
For powdered fillers such as Wonderfill, do not ask only how many cc will be injected.
Instead, ask: “How many original, authentic ampoules will be used for my treatment?”
Because a single ampoule can be diluted or mixed into different final volumes,
the number of cc alone does not accurately show how much of the original product is being used.
Vaginal filler prices may differ because of the product type, quality, number of original ampoules,
mixing method, physician’s experience, sedation fees, and examination costs.
Rather than focusing only on the lowest advertised price,
check whether the clinic uses authentic products in the correct amount and provides clear information about all additional fees.
At Daum Women’s Clinic, we carefully evaluate each patient’s vaginal tissue, degree of laxity, symptoms, and treatment goals
before recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
We hope this information helps you compare vaginal filler treatments more carefully and make a well-informed decision.
